Committee Chairman Mr. L. Shanthakumar and Co – Chairman Mr. L. Venkatesan have made elaborate arrangements for the Exhibition.

Chairman Mr. O.K. Selvaraj welcomed Mr.A.S. Chinnasamy Raju, All India past President and Trustee who has come for inaugurating the property Fair, Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, All India Past President and Trustee Mr. M. Karthikeyan, Committee Chairman Mr. L. Shanthakumar, Co Chairman Mr. L. Venkatesan, Trustee Mr. J.R. Ssethuramalingam, Past Trustee Dr. D. Thukkaram, Past State Chairman Mr. Mu. Moahan, Office bearers, Sr. Leaders EC/GC/MC members and Exhibitors from various companies and wished the Property Fair a grand success.

Mr. A.S. Chinnasamy Raju inaugurated the property Fair by lighting the Traditional lamp and addressed the gathering. Mr. L. Shanthakumar, Committee Chairman explained about the Exhibition and informed that out of planned 75 stalls, 70 stalls were booked by the Exhibitors to case their various projects. He thanked the Committee members for their valuable support and wished for the success of the Exhibition.

Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, All India Past President & Trustee in his address thanked Mr. A.S. Chainnasamy Raju, all India Past President and Trustee who has come all the way from Bengaluru to inaugurate the exhibition. Also thanked the Exhibitors of various organisations who have participated in the large numbers. He requested the Media and Press to highlight the harassment of Govt. officials being faced by the builders to reach the Government of Tamil Nadu. He wished the Exhibition for the grand success.

The property fair was inaugurated on 24th Jan. 2014 at 10.30 am by Smt. Varsha Purandare-Chief General Manager – State Bank of India in the presence of All India past President Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, Chairman Mr. S. Ayyanathan, Office Bearers, Property Fair Committee Chairman mr. O.k. Selvaraj, Senior members EC/GC/MC members and the Exhibitors.

Mr. S. Ayyanathan welcomed Chief Guest, bank Officials, Sr. Leaders and other members and the exhibitors who attended the inauguration function. Smt. Varsha Purandare-CGM of SBI in here inaugural address informed that for the benefit of the general public the SBI has slashed the rates of interest on housing Loans. Further she felt that the Builders are selling their projects on higher rates.

Replying on the above, Mr. R. Radhakrishnan – All India President said that the State Government had levied various taxes to the construction industry and hence the Builders are forced to sell the projects on higher rates. While thanking the State Bank of India for their participation as Co-sponsor in the property Fair, he requested to participate as main sponsor during the next property fair. Property Fair Committee Chairman Mr. O.K. Selvaraj thanked the Exhibitors Sr. Leaders and the other members.

More than 40 builders exhibited their projects in the exhibition. State Bank of India participated as Co-sponsor and explained to the bujyers regarding loans facility available with them. A separate cell was provided for legal advice and technical guidance for the buyers. The exhibition was kept open from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm on all the 3 days. Almost 5000 people visited the exhibition. On the concluding day of the exhibition (26th Jan.2014) the Exhibitors were honoured by presenting mementos on behalf of Builders Association of India – Southern Centre.

More than 55 Builders & Flat Promoters showcased their projects to suit for the budgeted housing and luxury housing. The Property Fair was inaugurated by Shri. Srinivas Acharya, Managing Director, Sundaram BNP Paribas Home Finance Ltd in the presence of All India past President Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, All India Past Vice President Mr. J.R. Sethuramalingam, State Chairman Mr. Mu. Moahan, Chairman Mr. S. Ayyanathan and Mr. Antony Rathnam, Managing Director, RajarathnamConstructions.

For providing Housing loans to the buyers Sundaram BNP Paribas Home Finance Ltd participated as co-sponsor in the property fair. Advocates from CS & Associates participated to provide legal advice to the property buyers. Mr. S.D. Kannan – Chairman, Taxation Committee guided in the taxation problems.

On the 2^nd final day of the property fair the Exhibitors were honoured with presenting mementos for their participation. Mr. O.K. Selvaraj – Chairman house Hunt Expo-2013 was honoured by Mr. R. Radhakrishnan with Crown Garland of flowers for having conducted the Property fair successfully. Office bearers , EC/GC members were present. The property show was well appreciated by the Exhibitors and the visitors.
