Workers Health Camp

On the 27th of April 2024, the BAI - Southern Centre and the Southern Builders' Charitable Trust came together and organized the first Workers Health Camp for the year 2024-25 at the Baashyaam Crown Residences – Baashyaam Constructions site, located opposite to Koyambedu Metro Station. The medical camp commenced in the presence of the esteemed Sevarathna Bhishma, Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, Past National President, and Trustee Mr. Mu. Moahan, Trustee and Past National President, Mr. N. G. Lokanathan, Centre Chairman, Office Bearers, Seniors and EC/GC Members.

The Committee Chairman Mr. A. Sathyanarayana organised Doctors from Apollo Hospital. Comprehensive medical services were provided to more than 300 hardworking construction workers, including general health check-ups such as ECG, Eye Checkup, Dental Check up, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, basic first aid, health awareness sessions, and distribution of essential medicines. The Health camp not only addressed immediate health concerns but also helped raise awareness about preventive measures to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
