A Medical Camp in Commemoration of Builders Day Celebration was conducted from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm for the Construction workers. Mr. A. Sathyanarayana, Workers Health Camp Committee Chairman organized the camp and around 400 plus workers were screened by the panel of doctors from M/s Apollo Hospitals & Saveetha Dental University. Free medicines were issued to the Construction workers.
To entertain the Construction workers a variety entertainment programme was organised. The Venue bore a festive look and all the Construction workers have enjoyed the variety entertainment progamme.
The Builders Day Celebrations commence at 6.30 pm. in the presence of Thiru K.Viswanathan, All India President, BAI. Dr. Ruby R.Manoharan, M.L.A. Nanguneri Assembly Constituency and CMD, Ruby Builders & Promoters was the Chief Guest. Thiru S.Rajendiran, Chief Engineer (General), Greater Chennai Corporation, Thiru R.Sivakumar, Vice President, South Zone-II, BAI, Thiru B.Palanivel, State Chairman, BAI-TN, Puducherry, A &N Islands and Thiru Mu. Moahan, Trustee & Past National President, BAI were the Guest of Honors.
The Celebration was inaugurated by litting of Kuthuvilakku by the dignitaries. Mr.N.G. Lokanathan, Chairman, BAI-Southern Centre and Mr. M. Jaishankar, Committee Chairman, Builders Day Committee welcomed the gathering. Prizes to the winners of Oratorical competition, Mementoes to participant colleges, Hospitals, gifts to workers were distributed.
Builders Association of India, Southern Centre honored Thiru V.G.Sakthikumar, Chairman and Managing Director, Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited in recognition of his dedication and contributions to the construction industry with a Memento, Shawl, Cardamom Garland and gift.
Chief Guest, Guest of Honors delivered their speech and Mr.N.G. Lokanathan, Centre Chairman honoured them with shawl and memento. The function came to close with the vote of Thanks proposed by Hon.Secretary Shri K.Gopinathan followed by variety entertainment and sumptuous dinner to the Construction Workers, Members and their families.
