
The Builders' Association of India, Southern Centre successfully organized a seminar on "The Tamil Nadu Combined Development & Building Rules – Latest Updates" and "Advanced Sewage Treatment Plant / Designing Safe and Reliable STPs" on 23rd June 2026 at the Padma Bhushan Dr. A. Ramakrishna Auditorium, BAI Southern Centre Premises, Ambattur, Chennai.
The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Mr. K. Gopinathan, Chairman, BAI Southern Centre, followed by the Inaugural Address by Bhishma Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, Past National President & Trustee, BAI. The programme concluded with an address by Mr. Mu. Moahan, Past National President & Trustee, BAI.
The first session was delivered by Thiru N.K. Ramesh, M.E., Senior Planner, CMDA, who gave an insightful presentation on the latest developments in the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules (TNCDBR). His presentation highlighted the transformative reforms introduced to simplify approvals, promote sustainable development, and improve the ease of doing business.
