Meeting for Finalization of Tamil Nadu Apartments Ownership Rules

On May 22, 2024, a meeting for the finalization of the Tamil Nadu Apartments Ownership Rules was convened under the chairmanship of Tmt. Kakarla Usha, IAS, Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. This consultative meeting, held at the Conference Hall on the 3rd floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maaligai, New Building, Secretariat.

Prominent attendees included Thiru Anshul Misra, IAS, Member Secretary of CMDA, Thiru B. Ganesan, IAS, Director of Town and Country Planning, the Inspector General of Registration, Government of Tamil Nadu and Consultant Mr. Jaya Prakash Padmanabhan, Partner at FoxMandal Solicitors & Advocates.

Representing the Builders' Association of India, Southern Centre, were Mr. N.G. Lokanathan, Chairman; Mr. S. Ramaprabhu, Chairman-CMDA-DTCP Committee and Mr. L. Shantha Kumar, Chairman-Real Estate/RERA Committee. They actively participated and provided various suggestions to the Chair for incorporation into the Tamil Nadu Apartments Ownership Rules.
