Seminar on TNCDBR-2019 (Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules,2019)

On 17/11/2023, a seminar on “TNCDBR-2019” (Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules,2019) was organized by the Builders’ Association of India, Southern Centre and Southern Construction Research and Development Service Society at BAI-Southern Centre premises, Padma Bhushan Dr.A.Ramakrishna Auditorium, Ambattur, Chennai-600058.

The seminar was called to order by Mr. N.G. Lokanathan, Chairman of the Seminar Committee of BAI-SC and started with the welcome address of the Centre Chairman, Mr. A.N. Balaji.

Sevarathna Bhishma Mr. R.Radhakrishnan, Past National President and Past Trustee delivered the inaugural address setting the tone for the seminar. Key note speaker Mr. S.Ramaprabhu, Chairman of the Municipal Administration and DTCP Committee, BAI-SC covered /explained the following to the participants:

The seminar provided a comprehensive understanding of the TNCDBR-2019.

Mr. L.Shantha Kumar, Chairman of the CMDA, RERA Committee, BAI Southern Centre delivered his Special address and provided insights into CMDA’s third Master Plan.

Mr. Mu. Moahan, Trustee & Past National President congratulated the Chairman for organizing such an useful seminar.

Mr. A.N. Balaji, Centre Chairman, BAI-SC and Mr. S.Ramaprabhu, Municipal Administration and DTCP Committee Chairman honored Bhisma Mr. R.Radhakrishanan with a a shawl. Bhishma Mr. R.Radhakrishnan honored Mr. S.Ramaprabhu amd Mr. L.Shantha Kumar with a shawl and memento.

Mr. R.Prakash, Past State Chairman, Mr. K.Venkatesan, State Secretary and Mr. B.Anandan, State Treasurer and more than 120 members from Tambaram, Kancheepuram, Thiruporur, and affiliated associations participated.

The Seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. P.K.P. Narayana Murthy, Hon. Secretary, The Southern Construction Research and Development Service Society followed by Lunch.
