Seminar on Stop a Drop – Emerging Trends and Developments in Construction Chemicals for Buildings.

On 17-08-2023, a seminar on “Stop a Drop – Emerging Trends and Developments in Construction Chemicals for Buildings” was organized by BAI-Southern Centre inviting Mr. Manikandan Muthumanicam, Regional Specification Manager, Fosroc South Region to take part in the seminar as Guest Speaker at Builders’ Association of India, Southern Centre premises, Padma Bhushan Dr.A.Ramakrishna Auditorium, Ambattur, Chennai-600058.

The meeting was well attended by around 150 members and Students from Various Engineering Colleges The meeting was started with the welcome address of Centre Chairman, Mr. A.N. Balaji . Mr. N.G. Lokanathan, Chairman –Seminar Committee introduced the Speaker and Mr. Arun Kumar, Regional Sales Manager, Building Segment, Distribution – Fosroc South Region gave introduction of Fosroc Chemicals.

Mr. Manikandan Muthumanicam an expert in construction and chemical industries delivered insightful presentation during the seminar. He shared his knowledge and experience offering valuable insights into the latest trends, technological advancements and best practices in the field of construction chemicals.

The seminar successfully highlighted the importance of construction chemicals in modern building practices and it covered a wide range of topics related to construction chemicals, including:

• Waterproofing solutions
• Admixtures
• Repair and Rehabilitation
• Green Building Practices
• Innovations in coatings etc.

The seminar included interactive session and participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge and to clear their doubts through Q & A session.
