Oratorical Competition

An Inter College Technology Oratorical Competition event in connection with Builders' Day Celebration was conducted on 16/10/2025 at Dr. A.Ramakrishna Auditorium, BAI-SC premises, Ambattur, Chennai-600058. The topic of the speech was “VIKSIT BHARAT@ 2047 - CONSTRUCTION AND INFRASTRUCTURE INDUSTRY'S MOMENT TO SHINE”. Students from below mentioned six reputed colleges have participated:

• Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering
• Velammal Engineering College
• Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering
• Saveetha Engineering College
• R,M.K. Engineering College
• Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College

The participants were welcomed by Centre Chairman, Mr. R.Nimrode and he praised the students who came large in number to excel their oratorical/presentation talent. Students have excelled their performance with competitive spirit. Mr. M.Sekar, General Council Member, Mr. K.K.Choudary, Executive Committee Member and Mr. Mahboob, M/s Raisers Structures were present as judges. Mr.A.N. Balaji, Imm. Past Chairman & Chairman, Civil Engineering Graduates Training and Orientation Committee, BAI-Southern Centre briefed the Rules and Regulations to the participants stating that 5 participants from each college will be allowed to orate for maximum 5 minutes and the presentation to be in English or Tamil. 29 students from above Colleges have participated. Three Individual prizes, Three Consolation prizes and participation certificates were announced and Participants College and students were informed to receive the same on Builders' Day Celebrations scheduled on 07/11/2025.
