A Stakeholder engagement and demo of Tamil Nadu’s ONLINE Single-Window CLEARANCE SYSTEM | 14-05-2022

On 14-05-2022 a Stakeholder engagement and demo of Tamil Nadu’s ONLINE Single-Window CLEARANCE SYSTEM was organised at Padma Bhushan Dr.A.Ramakrishna Auditorium, Builders’ Association of India, Ambattur in the presence of Thiru Anshul Mishra, I.A.S., Member Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority. Thiru S. Rudiramurthy, Senior Planner (Reclassification & Layout), Thiru A. Balasubramaniyan, Senior Planner (NHRB, Area Plans Unit), Thiru. N. Ravikumar, Senior Planner (Enforcement Cell), Tmt. R. Meena, Senior Planner (MSB, Area Plans Unit), Thiru. Prakash, SEMT , TNEGA, Tmt. R. K. Vedavathi, Deputy Planner (e-Governance), Tmt. S. Lakshmi Prabha, System Analyst, Tmt.Sridevi, Project Lead, System Integrator, Softech Ltd have attended on behalf of CMDA and address the gathering. A demo on operation of Tamil Nadu’s online Single Window clearance system was given and they have clarified the doubts of the participants.

Thiru Anshul Mishra, I.A.S., Member Secretary in his address thanked the Chairman for inviting him and he informed that CMDA is 99% ready for processing the online application. He informed that the trial was started in the month of April and it took a month to understand what the problems in online application process are and they worked on that and corrected the mistakes by modifying the software a little bit. He also informed that from 2nd May 2022 they have decided not to take manual applications anymore. Furthermore, he added that CMDA was trying to integrate with other departments in a seamless manner for NOC issuing. After many discussions with 24 departments, eight departments have come forward to integrate with CMDA and the two departments are ready to integrate online integration through API and other aid departments as they don't have an internal system.

Bhishma Mr.R.Radhkrishnan, Past National President and Trustee, Builders’ Association of India in his key note address welcomed Thiru Anshul Mishra, I.A.S., Member Secretary, CMDA and all higher Officials of CMDA, Mr.R.R.Shridhar, Centre Chairman, Mr. L.Shanthakumar, Chairman, CMDA/RERA Committee, Mr.Mu.Moahan, Imm. Past National President, and other diginitaries on and off dais. He thanked the officials for elaborating the online single window clearance system and informed that Builders’ Association of India is the only Association having 81 years existence and Southern Centre having 71 years existence. He informed that BAI has played the major Role in bringing the Second Master Plan with the active persuasion and expressed his happiness that the third master plan is being envisaged under the leadership of present Member Secretary Mr. Anshul Mishra.

He also informed that Builders’ Association is the body which actively involving with the Development having thousands of Builders giving residence to small and medium class even LIG. He also requested the Member Secretary that our Representative should be there in the policy making by the CMDA.

Bhishma Mr.R.Radhakrishnan honoured Thiru Anshul Mishra and the Centre Chairman Mr. R.R.Shridhar honoured CMDA Officials with Gift and Memento.

The successful programme was ended with Vote of Thanks by our Centre Hon. Secretary Shri N.G. Lokanathan followed by lunch. Around 130 members were present.
