SPORTS TOURNAMENT 2025-26

The Builders' Association of India, Southern Centre, successfully conducted the Sports Tournament for the year 2025–26 on Sunday, 13th July 2025 at AIEMA – Fiverings Sports Pvt. Ltd., Ambattur, Chennai-58. . The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members, fostering friendship and sportsmanship among the fraternity. The tournament commenced at 7:00 AM with the invocation - Thamizh Thai Vaazhthu, followed by a formal Call to Order by Mr. N.G. Lokanathan, Sports / Image Building Committee Chairman. He invited the dignitaries to the dais, including Mr. Mu. Moahan, Past National President and Trustee; Mr. L. Venkatesan, All India Trustee; Mr. K. Venkatesan, State Chairman; Mr. R. Nimrode, Centre Chairman and Mr. G. Diwakar, Hon. Secretary.

Mr. R. Nimrode, Centre Chairman, delivered the Welcome Address. This was followed by the distribution of Sports T-shirts to participants by Mr. Mu. Moahan, who also officially declared the tournament open. The sports competitions commenced at 7:30 AM and featured five disciplines – Shuttle Cork, Carrom, Chess, Indoor Cricket, and Archery. A total of 203 members actively participated in the tournament, showcasing their talent, energy, and team spirit.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held later in the day and was presided over by Mr. L. Venkatesan, All India Trustee; Mr. K. Venkatesan, State Chairman; Mr. R. Nimrode, Centre Chairman; Mr. G. Diwakar, Hon. Secretary; and the Chairmen and Co-Chairmen of the sports Committee. All winners and runners-up were awarded individual prizes and trophies in recognition of their outstanding performance.

Among the dignitaries present were Mr. R. Sivakumar, Immediate Past National Vice President; Mr. O.K. Selvaraj, Past All India Trustee; Mr. L. Shanthakumar, State Secretary; all Office Bearers of the Southern Centre; all Past Centre Chairmen Mr. S. Ramaprabhu, Mr. R.R. Shridhar, and Mr. A.N. Balaji as well as members of the Managing Committee and EC/GC Members. The entire event was meticulously organized by Mr. N.G. Lokanathan, Chairman, Image Building / Sports Committee, along with Co-Chairmen Mr. R. Balasubramaniam and Mr. M. Sekar, ensuring smooth execution and a memorable experience for all participants.
