Meeting at the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health.

on 12/09/2022, The Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, functioning under Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu has organised a half a day programme in their office at Guindy to sensitise the employers on the immediate need for compliance to the statutory requirements which will pave way for enhancing the safety systems in the workplace. Responsibilities expected from the employers side was discussed elaborately with various industrial associations to ensure a better and safe working environment for the workers.

The programme was presided over by the Honourable Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development and the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department.

Mr. N.G. Lokanathan, Hon. Secretary, BAI Southern Centre participated in the meeting.
