Affiliated Associations Meeting

An Affiliated Associations Meeting was convened by Centre Chairman Mr. R. Nimrode on 10th June 2025 at the Southern Centre premises, Ambattur. The meeting focused on current issues faced by the construction industry and deliberated on the draft Registration Bill 2025, prepared by the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The proposed Bill aims to establish a modern, digital, paperless and citizen-centric registration system to replace the outdated Registration Act of 1908. Suggestions, if any, are to be submitted to the Union Government through BAI Headquarters before 25th June 2025.

Office bearers from the Chennai Southern Builders' Association, Flat Promoters Association - Ambattur & Avadi, North Chennai Flat Promoters Association, Singara Chennai Builders’ Association, and Flat Promoters Association - Chennai South participated in the meeting. Shri S. Ramaprabhu, DTCP Committee Chairman, Mr. R.R. Shridhar, Immediate Past Chairman, Mr. N. G. Lokanathan and other Office Bearers of the Southern Centre also actively contributed to the discussions.
