Oratorical Competiton

An Inter College Technology Oratorical Competition event in connection with Builders’ Day Celebration was conducted on 09/10/2023 at Dr. A.Ramakrishna Auditorium, BAI-SC premises, Ambattur, Chennai-600058. The topic of the speech was “SUSTAINING NEW RESILIENT INDIA”. Students from below mentioned six reputed colleges have participated:

• Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering
• Velammal Engineering College
• Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering
• Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College
• Saveetha Engineering College
• B.S.Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology

The participants were welcomed by Centre Chairman, Mr.A.N. Balaji and he praised the students who came large in number to excel their oratorical/presentation talent. Students have excelled their performance with competitive spirit. Mr. J.R.Sethuramalingam, Past National Vice President and Past Trustee, Mr. N.G.Lokanathan, Vice Chairman and Mr. K.K.Choudary, EC Member and Managing Director, Standard Building Industries were present as judges. Mr. J.R. Sethuramalingam briefed the Rules and Regulations to the participants stating that 5 participants from each college will be allowed to orate for maximum 5 minutes and the presentation to be in English or Tamil. 33 students from above Colleges have participated. Three Individual prizes, Four Consolation prizes and participation certificates were announced and participants college and students were informed to receive the same on Builders’ Day Celebrations being held on 20/10/2023.

Mr. Mu.Moahan, Trustee and Past National president, Mr. R.R. Shridhar, Immdt. Past Chairman, Mr. R.Nimrode, Hon.Secretary and Mr. Y.Srinivasan Hon. Treasurer have graced the occasion and praised the Students for their extraordinary performance.
