Builders' Day Celebration at Dr. Ambedkar Arangam, ICF, Chennai

The Builders' Day Celebration commenced with a Medical Camp for construction workers from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The camp was organized by Mr. A. Sathyanarayana, Chairman, Workers' Health Camp Committee, and over 400 construction workers were screened by a panel of doctors from M/s Apollo Hospitals and Saveetha Dental University. Free medicines were distributed to all the workers who participated.

To entertain the workers, a variety entertainment programme was also arranged. The venue had a festive look, and the workers thoroughly enjoyed the performances.

The Builders' Day Celebrations formally began at 6.30 pm in the esteemed presence of Sevarathna Bhishma Thiru R.Radhakrishnan, Past National President and Trustee, Thiru N. Raghunathan, All India Vice President, BAI - South Zone II, Thiru P. Senthil, M.E. (Structural), Chief Engineer (H), NABARD & Rural Roads, Tamil Nadu - Chief Guest, Thiru K. Venkatesan, State Chairman, BAI - TN, Puducherry, A&N Islands, Thiru L. Venkatesan, All India Trustee, BAI and Thiru Mu. Moahan, Past National President & Trustee, BAI - Guests of Honour

Mr. R. Nimrode, Chairman, BAI-Southern Centre, and Mr. M. Jaishankar, Committee Chairman, Builders' Day Committee, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Sevarathna Bhishma Mr. R. Radhakrishnan delivered an inspiring keynote address.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of the Oratorical Competition along with mementoes to participating colleges and hospitals, and gifts to construction workers.

A special moment of the evening was the honouring of Thiru T. V. Chandrasekaran, Senior Member, BAI-Southern Centre, for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the construction industry. He was felicitated with a memento, shawl, cardamom garland, and gift.

The Chief Guest and Guests of Honour addressed the gathering, after which they were honoured by Mr. R. Nimrode, Centre Chairman, with shawls and mementoes.
