Industrial Site Visit for ITI Students

As part of the ongoing industry-institution engagement efforts, an industrial site visit was organized on 2nd July 2025 for the Draughtsman Civil Trade students of Government Women ITI, Ambattur. Around 20 students accompanied by their faculty members, visited the ongoing project site of M/s Rahul Associates at Thiruvengadam Nagar, Ambattur. The visit was facilitated by the Builders' Association of India - Southern Centre.

The students were warmly received and guided at the site by Mr. R. Nimrode, Centre Chairman, BAI – Southern Centre, Mr. S. Ramaprabhu, President, The Southern Construction Research and Development Service Society, Mr. P. K. P. Narayanamurthy, Secretary, Mr. S. Jeyaraman, Treasurer, Mr. K. Annamalai, Immediate Past President, SCRDS and Mr. R. R. Shridhar, Past Chairman, BAI - Southern Centre and Managing Director, M/s Rahul Associates

The students were provided with an overview of the site layout, structural components, construction techniques and safety protocols. They gained valuable exposure to real-time practices in civil construction, including curing processes, and quality control measures. The interaction also helped bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application.
